2024 Chevy Equinox Preview

The new Chevy Equinox has a refreshed exterior that combines elegance and sportiness. With striking, angular lines and a black-matte grille, the Equinox exudes confidence and a sense of modernity. The redesigned headlights, now featuring advanced LED technology, add a touch of sophistication while also enhancing visibility during nighttime drives.

Its aerodynamic profile not only complements the vehicle’s efficiency but also gives it a more dynamic stance on the road. However, it is expected that the Equinox will not change too much from its 2023 counterpart. The main change with the Equinox will be that new available colors to choose from like Riptide Blue and Lakeshore Blue.

Inside the Equinox, Chevy has emphasized comfort and functionality. You should expect plenty of legroom and about 29.9 cubic feet of cargo space. With comfortable seats, available panoramic sunroof, and other features, you are sure to have a pleasant ride for daily commutes or long road trips.

The 2024 Chevy Equinox comes with a turbocharged 1.5-liter V4 that produces 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. The traditional gas-powered engines have also received upgrades and should have an improved fuel efficiency of about 26 city/31 highway MPG. Each Equinox plans to come in FWD but has available AWD.

Along with this gas-powered engine, the new Equinox plans to come out with an Equinox EV that should have a range of 250–280 miles depending on the variant. Along with the range, the Equinox EV should have a 210-horsepower electric motor or a 290-horsepower engine in AWD with the assistance of a rear motor.

As for technology, the new Chevy Equinox should come with a 7.0-inch touchscreen that uses Chevy’s MyLink software system. The software system should allow an easy-to-use interface with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, seven-speaker Bose sound system, and auxiliary input jack. These features should help you to have good practical use while driving the Equinox.

Safety is at the core of the Equinox’s design, and the 2024 model is no exception. The 2024 Equinox should come with features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, rear-cross traffic alert, forward collision warning, and blind-spot monitoring. These features are intended to keep drivers and passengers safe on the road.
