Take work orders from the dispatcher and move the car to the designated stall area.
Follow work orders with exactness to provide quality work up to all dealership and manufacturer standards.
Perform accurate diagnosis of all problems and fix them as authorized.
Obtain all necessary parts from the Parts Department effectively and professionally.
Set aside and label parts that are due under warranty or by customer request.
Come to the service advisor with any changes to your work, including cases where more work is needed, service is not required, or you need more time to complete the job.
Always maintain the proper documentation of your work.
To ensure the customer complaint has been taken care of, perform road tests on the vehicles.
Participate in and receive quality checks of work performed.
Attend all training classes.
Stay on top of all factory technical bulletins.
Maintain the cleanliness of the customer’s vehicle throughout the service or repair process.
Know and carry out all housekeeping and safety procedure.
Learn and internalize all regulations, be they federal, state, or local regulations, regarding vehicle service and repair.
