This engine is available with either a 6-speed automatic transmission or an 8-speed automatic and auto stop/start technology for superior fuel economy.

  The 2019 Chevy Silverado is also available with a 2.7L Turbo engine that features active fuel management and provides up to 310 hp and 348 lb.-ft. of torque. Finally, if performance is most important to you, there is an available 6.2L V8 engine that can provide up to 420 hp and 460 lb.-ft. of torque.   The 2019 Chevy Silverado also has a great tailgate with power-up and power-down functionality available. It has three different bed lengths available, depending on which cab size you choose. If you are worried that the long box might make the truck too big for your lifestyle, just remember that it is only available with the regular cab. The crew cab with a standard box measures about 241 inches long overall, while the regular cab and long box measure less than 230 inches in total length – so all that extra cargo storage is no problem.

• Transmission Choices
