The Silverado HD comes in a handful of trim levels and models for you to pick from. There’s the 2500, and the stronger 3500. They both share a few trims, but the 2500 has an exclusive trim.

The trims they share are the WT, LT, LTZ, and the High Country. For the exclusive 2500 trims, you have the Custom, and ZR2 trims.

The Duramax has 470 horsepower.

When it comes to torque you will get 975 lb-ft. Depending on how the truck is configured, you can tow up to 22,430 pounds with the 2500. While with the 3500 you can tow up to 36,000.

Looking at the base engine that is offered across both the 2500 and 3500 lineup, it is a 6.6L V8. This engine can produce 401 horsepower, and 464 lb-ft of torque. Depending on the configuration,you can tow up to 20,000 pounds with both lineups.
